Greener Surfactant-Assisted Microextraction Method for the Determination of Fluoroquinolones in Chicken Livers by High-Performance Liquid Chromatography

A simple and environmentally friendly surfactant-assisted microextraction method combined with high-performance liquid chromatography fluorescence detection was developed for the determination of six fluoroquinolones in chicken livers. In method, analytes were transported into hydrophobic extraction by ionic nonionic surfactants. Three different surfactants studied this purpose, cationic Methyltrioctyl ammonium chloride (Aliquat 336), anionic sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), trioctyl phosphine oxide (TOPO). Under optimum conditions, limits (LODs) quantification (LOQs) obtained using surfactant ranged from 5 to 23 µg kg-1 15 78 respectively. The LODs 9 21 while LOQs 31 71 kg-1. 20 29 67 Surfactant assisted-dispersive SDS Aliquat 336 statistically compared no significant statistical difference observed between two methods. results study indicate that proposed is cost-effective solid biological samples.
